Liesanne believes that exceptional healthcare begins with genuine human connection and a proactive, team-oriented approach. With her natural warmth and problem-solving abilities, Liesanne connects with clients on a personal level, helping them feel calm, cared for, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. A creative professional and excellent communicator, she adapts quickly while managing multiple projects, providing invaluable support to her team and ensuring smooth operations at the Centre.
Liesanne earned a double degree from the University of British Columbia, completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2020 and a Master of Management in 2021. Her background spans the healthcare, hospitality, education, and non-profit sectors, giving her a unique perspective to support diverse populations with varying needs. She gained extensive experience as a clinical operations coordinator and served as an operations leader for a virtual care platform during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, supporting over one million clients. In this role, she provided both technical and administrative support to clinicians and clients, improving access to high-quality care. Her expertise also extends to social media, where she built meaningful connections and empowered people to prioritize their well-being through compassionate, branded communication.
Outside the clinic, Liesanne maintains an active lifestyle through yoga, boxing, and running. She competed as a varsity athlete with the UBC Women’s Soccer Team, earning a National Championship gold medal in 2020. She also loves to travel, having explored Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia, and spent time living abroad in the United Kingdom.
